  • Here is an interesting research paper discussing the impact of cable franchise and PEG fees. I don’t agree that these fees are a “tax” on consumers, fyi.
  • FCC news release stating that PEG Fees count against the 5% cable franchise fee cap. Yikes. PEG fees are so limited in their application that it begins to make more sense to cancel the PEG fee component, if they are being used as an offset against a general franchise fee rental payment, right?
